Fundraising

- Overview
  
  Since tuition and parish subsidies do not cover the full cost of education, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School relies on fundraising to support school operations, enhance programming, and maintain affordability for all of our Faithful Beginnings to 8th grade families.
  
  Annual Fundraising Commitment (K-8 only)
  The school hosts 3 major fundraisers during the school year, and K-8 families are required to participate in 2, either by fundraising or by making a financial contribution. Families may fulfill this commitment in one of the following ways:
  
  Financial Contribution: Families may opt out of fundraising participation by making a financial contribution to the school (suggested: $500 per family). Click here if you'd like to choose this option.
  Fundraising Participation Option: Families may meet the fundraising requirement by participating in 2 of the school’s designated fundraisers.
  
  School-Wide Fundraisers
  St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School will host the following fundraising opportunities:
  Heggies Pizza Sales – Fall
  Catholic United Financial Raffle – Winter
  Auction for Education – Spring
  
  Additional fundraisers may occur throughout the year to support the school but do not count toward your fundraising requirement.
  
  Heggies Pizza Sales (Fall)
  This is our first school-wide fundraiser of the year and takes place in the Fall. During this fundraiser students sell pizza to family and friends and St. Vincent de Paul receives a portion of the proceeds. There is approximately a 2 week period in which students will sell followed by a pick-up date for all pizzas sold within a month after sales wrap up. Families must pick up all pizzas on the defined date. It is up to each family to distribute pizzas to purchasers. Volunteers are needed to help organize orders and distribute pizzas.
  
  Catholic United Financial Raffle (Winter)
  Since 2009, the Catholic United Financial Raffle has been one of the most effective and impactful fundraisers for Catholic education in the Upper Midwest. Catholic United Financial organizes this raffle and provides all prizes. During this fundraiser, students sell raffle tickets to family and friends, and 100% of ticket sales are kept at St. Vincent de Paul. The impact of this fundraiser is significant, as all proceeds stay at the individual schools. Volunteers are needed to help count raffle tickets and payments.
  
  Auction for Education (Spring)
  The Auction for Education Gala, our LARGEST fundraiser of the year, is a testament to the strength of our school community. Completely organized and funded by us, it's a Spring event that includes food, games, a Silent Auction (need not be present to participate), a Live Auction, and a Tuition Raffle. Families are asked to participate in several ways, and volunteers are crucial in making this event a success. You can help by donating or soliciting auction items, selling tuition raffle tickets, sponsoring the event, attending the Gala, and participating in the silent and live auctions.
  
  RaiseRight (Ongoing)
  RaiseRight (formerly SCRIP) is an organization that sells gift cards to individuals at face-value and then provides a rebate for fundraising. At St. Vincent de Paul, families receive 75% of their rebates earned as a tuition credit for the following school year, and 25% of the rebate goes back to the school. It is entirely optional to participate in RaiseRight.
